Despite his tight schedule and a whole country to rule, President Rodrigo Duterte still managed to pay his respects for actor Aga Muhlach‘s father.
Alvaro “Cheng” Muhlach‘s life ended between 3:00 am to 5:00 am on May 12. Later the official cause listed was Heart Failure. Every family member of the Muchlach clan remembered him by posting throwback photos online. Their posts included heartfelt messages
Aga announced the details of his father’s wake in an Instagram Story. The wake commenced on May 13. The wake was at Heritage Park in Taguig City.
President Duterte and other government officials paid their respects at the inurnment on May 15.
The actor has also recently posted a video of Duterte entering the chapel. The caption expressed his deepest gratitude:
“Maraming salamat, Pangulong Duterte for paying your respects to my Dad. It meant so much to me and my family.”
He was accompanied by Secretary Bong Go. During the wake he gladly interacted with Aga’s relatives and friends. Later they took a picture with his signature pose. After that they had a small talk to ease their grief.
