Pres. Duterte Nakapili Na Ng Ipapalit Bilang Bagong NFA Head Para Sa Agarang Solusyon Ng NFA Rice!

In a situation briefing in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III stressed that NFA should be headed properly to address the issues of rice supplies in the areas affected by the typhoon Ompong.

Prior to this, President Duterte announced during a one-on-one interview with Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo that Aquino, who is also a former military, has requested to be relieved from his post amid the rising prices of rice in the country.

During the same meeting, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte said he is eyeing Lieutenant General Rolando Bautista to replace current (NFA) Administrator Jason Aquino. Bautista will retire as an Army commanding general in October.

“There’s the problem, because there’s a dearth of a substantial knowledge of where the rice is, that’s why I need somebody I can trust at masabihan ko na ‘fix that,’” the President said.
