“ ‘Red October' Will Force Duterte To Declare Martial Law ” - AFP Chief
On Tuesday, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Carlito Galvez, Jr. said The so-called “Red October” ouster plot against President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is meant to force him to declare martial law nationwide.
“Ang nakikita po namin, the President is being dragged to declare martial law nationwide and also most probably a revolutionary government,” Galvez said in the Senate hearing on the budget of the Department of National Defense (DND).
The Armed Forces maintained that the Communist Party of the Philippines is trying to form a coalition with the opposition, while setting a “political death trap” for the president.
“That would be some sort of political death trap for the President. They will create some sort of national coalition involving all oppositions and all party-lists including ‘yung mga previous destabilizers,” Galvez said.
Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana earlier confirmed that a destabilization plot against the president is underway.
The president himself had also claimed that the CPP, Liberal Party (LP) and Magdalo Party-list group were working together to oust him.
During the Senate hearing, however, Galvez belied the involvement of LP and Magdalo in the alleged ouster plot.

At ikulong lahat ng mastermind sa pagpapatalsik sa inyo. Mga magnanakaw na LP kung pede lang silang sunugin ng buhay mas ok sana lol...We badly needed it now to protect you and to protect our youths na nahihikayat na gumawa ng against their will. You can declare the Martial Law anytime you want . And we all like that not quite all except yung mga kawatan na mga LP :).
