The man who became viral after being captured by CCTV while hurting the traffic enforcers and called them “garbage” didn’t show his arrogance when he encountered the authorities led by NCRPO Chief Guillermo Eleazar who served a search warrant for him on Friday, August 24.
Instead of showing his braveness and bodyguards, a different Arnold Padilla was captured today as he almost passed out because of chest pain while the authorities are searching his house in Brgy. Magallanes, Makati City.
News footages showed Padilla being treated by the medical team after his blood pressure rose to 160/90.
Padilla’s lawyer, Atty. Raymond Fortun also came to the house of his client to give him legal support.
“Umaangal siya na mayroon siyang paninikip ng dibdid.” Fortun said in a radio interview.
Authorities found grenades and firearms in Padilla’s house and according to the PNP his license to carry was already revoked since April after they received complaints that the suspect was using his weapons to intimidate other people.
Padilla received many blotters from the residents of Brgy. Magallanes, a sign that the suspect loves intimidating people.
They’re also planning to test Padilla if he’s using illegal drugs, as the drug test that he presented in the Crime Lab was fake.
He’s now planning to be transferred in Camp Bagong Diwa for illegal possession of firearms.
Padilla was also the suspect in killing his sister using a gift box loaded with a bomb, and he’s also being monitored by the authorities for his alleged involvement in illegal drug trade.
His live-in-partner Glocel Razon was nowhere to be found during the search operation.
Aside from illegal possession of firearms, Padilla is also facing charges of direct assault, physical injuries, unjust vexation, coercion, and threats.
