A Roman Catholic devotee slammed former President ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III and the LP or Liberal Party for using the Church to express their political beliefs instead of a gospel.
Noynoy together with VP Leni Robredo and other members of the opposition attended the mass for the commemoration (35th death anniversary) of former Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr.
James Mamaril on Twitter was angered after he saw the ex-President using the podium of the Church while speaking against the government and expressing his political beliefs. He also questioned the priest who led the mass, asking if what Noynoy did was allowed in the general instructions on the Roman Missal.
In his Tweet, Mamaril tagged the Catholic Bishop’s Conference of the Philippines, asking why they allowed the opposition to hold a political event inside the Church.

Some of the netizens replied on Mamaril’s tweet, slamming the Catholic Church. However, James Mamaril said that despite of his anger against the Catholic priests, his faith in his religion was still strong.
