As a commuter in the Philippines, there is no denying that our problem with traffic has worsened throughout the years. The never-ending roadworks and undisciplined drivers are just some of the reasons why we still experience heavy traffic, despite the laws implemented by the government.
This occurrence often leads to road fights and tragic mishaps. But with the case of David Brimbuela, he chose to settle things with his fellow driver by playing rock, scissors, paper or locally known as Jack-en-poy.
David or Procopyo Madlangtuta, as seen on his Facebook, uploaded his video where he gave way to his fellow driver and wrote in the caption: “Dapat chill lang sa kalsada!!!”
He said that whoever wins the game gets to cross his side of the road, where it was less jammed. His opponent which happened to be a truck driver funnily accepted his challenge and went for a quick round. Although David won the game, he still let the truck driver overtake him.
Many netizens praised the man and were amused by how he acted amidst the exasperating traffic. People also stressed that everyone should be like David in order to lessen the cases of highway errors. Today, his video has reached two million views and has gained 22 thousand likes upon posting last Tuesday.
