Typhoon ‘Ompong’ was the strongest typhoon to hit this year, left several areas in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) submerged and caused multiple landslides which resulted in several casualties in the region.

President Rodrigo Duterte consoles the bereaved families of landslide victims at the Provincial Capitol in La Trinidad, Benguet.
