Before the year ends, Facebook users can't help not to rant on their social media accounts regarding their worst experience with the budget airline Air Asia on unexpected fees before they depart from their respective destinations both local and international flights.
Facebook book user Claudette Cledera and Cavite Governor Jesus Crispin Remulla slammed AirAsia for being the "lousiest airline in the world" on their offical Facebook page and accounts.
According to Cledera, they were about to go at the boarding gate when a female security guard was anxious checking their baggages and told her that she exceeds the allowed hand carry baggage which is 7kg.
According to Cledera, the guard weighed her bag without permission and said, "Excess na 'to".
She was shocked because she makes sure before leaving the hotel with her parents, they weighed and did not do anything to her suitcase. She even leave the other baggage to her parents which has managed to put an additional 40 kilograms to their baggage at Cebu Pacific flight going back to Manila.
Meanwhile, in another post by a public official Cavite Governor Jesus Crispin Remulla also shared his traumatic experience with Air Asia for his 88-year-old mother-in-law Vilma Diaz was charged HK$60 (P384) and an additional HK$450 (P2,882) just so somebody would assist her.
According to his post, Remulla said that the airline is greedy and does not care about the rights of passengers, particularly the old and weak.
He even urged the public to boycott the airline.
