Ito ang naging reaksyon ni LIberal Party VP for External Affairs Rep. Erin Tañada sa paghingi ng paumanhin ni Pangulong Duterte sa mga taga-Hongkong tungkol sa 2010 Luneta Hostage Crisis,
kung saan ilang Hongkong nationals ang namatay. Matatandaang hindi nag-sorry si dating Presidente Noynoy Aquino sa mga taga-Hongkong.
"On behalf of the people of the Philippines, may I apologise and say sorry that the incident happened and as humanly possible I would like to make this guarantee – it will never happen again," sabi ng Pangulo sa mga taga-Hongkong.
