The Tienda Malasakit offers agricultural produce at farm gate prices. The products are sold at a cheaper price because they are sourced directly from farmers in Central Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
After a successful launch in San Andres, Quezon City Manila last week, the Department of Agriculture (DA) opened A third Tienda Malasakit Store Taguig City on October 13.
Dinumog ng mga mamimili ang murang bigas, gulay at isda sa "Tienda Malasakit" ng Department of Agriculture (DA) sa Taguig ngayong Linggo.
Mula sa iba't ibang lalawigan ang mga alok na produkto sa lugar, katulad ng tuna mula sa General Santos City at mga kamatis galing sa Laguna, kung saan mayroong oversupply.
Narito ang presyo kada kilo ng ilan sa mga produktong direktang binili ng pamahalaan mula sa mga magsasaka at mangingisda:

Makikipag-partner ang DA sa mga lokal na pamahalaan para makapagbukas ng Tienda Malasakit stores sa iba pang barangay sa Metro Manila, sabi ni Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol.
