Independent Consultant seeks to Abolish ‘Party list System’

In a Facebook post this Tuesday, an independent consultant Willy Ramasola cited the existence of various Party list groups in the country as rather “useless” and only exists as a back door to political power.

He also defined the party list group’s purpose as “nuisance”.

“So what the hell is the Philippine Partylist system for? For me, it is just a back - door entry to political power by business, political, religious, labor or even rebel soldiers groups with dubiously nefarious agenda. They are just a nuisance not only in the House of Representatives but also in our Philippine society.” Ramasola stated.

It’s time to abolish the Partylist System.

Partylist groups Akbayan, Bayan Muna, Gabriela, Kabataan and Anakpawis are militant leftist activist organizations and are just using pork barrel funds (derived from people’s taxes) to finance their demonstrations and street protests against all governments from the time of Gloria, PNoy and now Duterte.

Another partylist LPGMA is a partylist organization of LPG marketers. They have been represented in Congress for many terms already. But what have they done to bring down the prices of LPG? None that we know of.

Another partylist, 1-Pacman, which stands for One Patriotic Coalition for Marginalized Nationals, is represented by businessman Mikee Romero. But he is super filthy rich with a personal net worth of Php8Billion. So i really doubt if we can consider him and his group as marginalized.

And of course we have the noisy Magdalo partylist group represented by Trillanes’ partner and former rebel soldier Gary Alejano who is using his pork barrel funds to file impeachment charges against the president and all sorts of destabilization activities against the government.

Finally we have this ACTS OFW represented by this arrogant asshole John Bertiz who definitely doesnt represent the interests of Filipino OFWs.

So what the hell is the Philippine Partylist system for? For me, it is just a back - door entry to political power by business, political, religious, labor or even rebel soldiers groups with dubiously nefarious agenda. They are just a nuisance not only in the House of Representatives but also in our Philippine society.
