Nanindigan si Senador Panfilo “Ping” Lacson na hindi siya pipirma sa draft ng committee report tungkol sa kontrobersya ng bakunang Dengvaxia.

Base sa Senate Blue Ribbon committee report, inirekomenda ni Senador Richard Gordon ang paghahain ng kaso sa paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corruption Practices Act at sa  Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of Public Officials laban kay dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino at iba pang opisyal. Kabilang na rito sina dating Budget Secretary Florencio Abad at dating Health Secretary Janette Garin.



Hindi nagustuhan ni Lacson ang ilang naging pahayag ni Gordon tungkol sa pagiging magkaibigan nila ni Aquino. Dagdag pa niya, hindi man siya nakadalo sa anumang naging pagdinig ng kumite tungkol sa Dengvaxia, binabantayan naman daw niya ito.


“Sen. Gordon’s unreasonable statements, ascribing motive in my earlier comment about ex-President Aquino has firmed up my decision not to sign his committee report,” sabi ni Lacson.





“Having said that, even at the onset, I already had my reservations based on his foregone conclusion which was too obvious to ignore. Hence, he was unilaterally directing the investigation to suit the outcome that he had desired from the very start,” dagdag pa niya.

Nauna nang nagpahayag noong nakaraang linggo si Lacson na duda siyang lumabag si Aquino sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices.

“Having worked closely with ex-Pnoy both in the Senate and Malacañang, it is difficult for me to believe that he was capable of committing graft and corruption,” sabi ni Lacson.




Tumanggi rin si Senador Antonio Trillanes na pumirma sa nasabing report.
