Ganito ang naging tugon ni Senate Pres. Koko Pimentel tungkol sa pagpapa-deport sa EU Politician na si Giacomo Filibeck matapos itong lumapag sa Cebu-Mactan International Airport noong April 16. Bumisita na noong Oktubre 2017 si Filibeck sa Pilipinas at dumalo sa isang pagtitipon kung saan kinastigo nila ang kampanya kontra-droga ng Duterte Gov't.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevaraa, iligal sa mga dayuhan ang makilahok sa mga pagkilos na may kinalaman sa politika.
"the government has the right to refuse entry to those who have committed these illegal acts in the past," sabi ni Sec. Guevarra.
"he does not enjoy the rights and privileges of a Philippine citizen, particularly the exercise of political rights, which are exclusively reserved to Filipinos," dagdag naman ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente.
