AFP Galvez, Parlade Reveal Broad Coalition Allegedly Engaged in Duterte’s Ouster

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Carlito Galvez Jr. and AFP Assistant Deputy Chief for Operations Brig. Gen. Antonio Parlade, made the revelation in an interview over ANC.

The military said a broad coalition consisting of communist rebels, the Coalition for Justice (CFJ) of former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, Tindig Pilipinas which includes the Liberal Party and Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV are allegedly engaged in the ouster of President Duterte.

Parlade said the groups who are allegedly out to overthrow Duterte are composed of Rey Casambre, a consultant for the communist rebels, Satur Ocampo, CFJ of for Sereno and Tindig Pilipinas.

“Casambre is in that group. Satur Ocampo is there. It’s a broad coalition being orchestrated by the Communist Party of the Philippines with Casambre there as part of the secretariat. Satur Ocampo and with that broad coalition they have included the CFJ the group that advocates or protects former Chief Justice Sereno, and then there’s Tindig Pilipinas. Incidentally, the Tindig Pilipinas includes the Liberal Party,” Parlade said.

Galvez, for his part, said the group has what they call “Aklasan” in which they infiltrate all the labor organizations of the different companies and conduct aklasan (strike of workers).

“It’s a nationwide attempt to close our manufacturing industries and they are using, well they have infiltrated many of these labor organizations,” Parlade said.

Parlade cited as an example the case of Nutri-Asia in Marilao, Bulacan wherein its union members have been infiltrated by left-leaning organizations.

“I’ll cite as an example the case of Nutri-Asia in Marilao, Bulacan. For 53 days that factory has been padlocked by these union members and many of them are active union members. many of whom are members of Kadamay. Remember this group who occupied the housing project in Pandi, Bulacan? And many of these picketers are actually students from Bulacan State University and all of these groups were organized by the Communist Party of the Philippines, the National Democratic Front,” Parlade said.

And now they are attempting to do this Aklasan in Monde-Nissin, PLDT, Jollibee. It’s a nationwide attempt really to (destabilize).. It’s different in the sense that now they timed this in the celebration of martial law and this time it’s really about consolidating their forces, their alliances in time for the 50th Communist Party of the Philippines this coming December,” he said.

Documents recovered

Parlade, in a separate interview, said they were able to recover documents that Tindig Pilipinas has an alleged alliance with the Movement Against Tyranny for the Aklasan.

“May mga document na nare-recover na may alliance sila with the Movement Against Tyranny para dun sa Aklasan, para dun sa kampanyang talsik. So oust Duterte talaga ang objective so alligned dito yung mga opposition, Liberal Party saka yung kampo ni Vice President (Leni) Robredo then si Trillanes then actually Magdalo (There are documents being recovered that they have an alliance with the Movement Against Tyranny for the Aklasan for the campaign to oust. So oust Duterre is their objective with the opposition aligned with it, Liberal Party and the camp of Vice President (Leni) Robredo then Trillanes then actually Magdalo),” Parlade said.

Parlade said fortunately, confronted them forcing Tindig Pilipinas went lie low and they won’t align with the communist.

“So yun ang magandang result, kumalas yung Tindig Pilipinas dun sa alliance (That was the good result , Tindig Pilipinas withdrew from the alliance),” he said.

Parlade said Tindig Pilipinas withdrew in the last minute, days before the 46th anniversary of the declaration of martial law.

“It was only last minute (that they withdrew), 19th or 20th, they really had a plan to join, to have a, if you say Magdalo many are soldiers, so definitely Magdalo is solid, there are no retired soldiers in Magdalo, that’s what they are counting on,” he said.

Parlade said their main objective is to oust President Rodrigo Duterte using issues like extrajudicial killings, martial law and tyranny of the media, including the opposition.

He added there will always be a plan to oust President Duterrte

“The plan will always be there because Jose Maria Sison was the one orchestrating. So they weren’t successful this September 21 but there will still be a plan this coming October. They call that Red October., the international celebration ng communism, Marxism and then Indigenous People’s month. So they will maximize the exploition of the IPs so they target the Lumads here in the Philippines,” he said.
