Business establishments such as department stores and supermarkets are hiring hundreds to thousands of employees to fill in the shoes and do many tasks that help earn them a huge amount of money every day.
However, although many businesses are earning much profit, most companies are only giving minimum daily wage to their hardworking employees, with minimum to fewer benefits.
A Facebook page under the name Library of Most Controversial Files exposed the horrible working place of employees in a popular establishment in Makati.
A series of photos showed the environment that the employees are dealing with inside the business establishment.
Businesses should also provide proper and decent working places for their employers who are working hard every day throughout the entire day for the company.
Since they are working for a popular shopping center in Metro Manila’s business district, they are spending the whole day just standing up and serving the customers.
Horrible Working Place
The Facebook page has uploaded the photos of the employees’ horrible resting areas as well as the dirty comfort rooms. In the said photos, it can be seen that the employees have no decent pantry and bathroom.
The employees are brushing their teeth in a sink that looks very filthy and not suitable for daily use. Both the male and female employees are suffering from the poor facilities and equipment in their working place.
The social media users have also expressed their reactions after seeing how the business establishment is treating their employees. Many of them are calling out that business to treat their employees better. Some cannot help but feel angry to the business owners for not treating their employees right, despite the fact that they are earning millions for the company.
