Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio believes that Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s is serious in her intention to promote federalism.
According to Inday Sara, as a government official, Mocha should be more cautious about what she’s gonna do next to help the government to promote Federalism.
“I think our secretary should be more circumspect siguro with her actions because she already is a government official,” - Inday Sara said in an interview in Camarines Sur.
“But tama naman ‘yung gusto nila na mapalaki ‘yung campaign ng federalism. Siguro ‘yung messaging lang ayusin,” she added.
She also advises women subjected to criticism to take everything as constructive and make room for development if needed, otherwise just “shrug it off”.
Mocha and her blogger friend, Drew Olivar faced criticisms from politicians, groups, and netizens for their controversial dance about Federalism.
The Palace said that President Rodrigo Duterte kept his cool after he knew about Mocha’s video, because he respected the free speech of the Assistant Secretary.
Mayor Inday Sara visited Camarines Sur for the launching of Governor Migz Villafuerte’s project dubbed as Kabataan para sa Kalikasan. Villafuerte recognized Davao City as one of the local government that helped their province when it was struck by typhoon in 2016.
