In a facebook post from Michelle Rose Suarez, a doctor and an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) currently working in OMAN, tackles the issue and says that netizens just like to put blame on the president without learning the whole facts of the case.

Suarez stated that the president must not be blamed for the inflation simply because it is in fact, occurring worldwide. She added that it is not only in the Philippines that gasoline prices have increased, but as well as in Oman and other nations.

She said that this is because countries that distribute oil, just like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Russia, handles the prices of oil. For that reason, they must be the ones to be blamed for the current inflation.
