After the Senate Probe on alleged election cheating in 2016 Presidential elections, several Fb fan pages and users tried to spread the video of the said investigation on their social media accounts.

Most of the videos featured Anti-Election fraud advocate and former Biliran Representative Atty. Glenn Chong, who disclosed some pieces of evidence that would proved that there's a conspiracy happened between COMELEC, Smartmatic and Liberal Party (LP). However, most fb users who shared the said videos claimed that their post was automatically removed because it was considered as a “spam”.

Because of this, Glenn Chong who was alarmed for what happened to some fb users wrote a letter to the representatives of the said social media giant to the Philippines.

TINANGGAL NG FACEBOOK ANG ORIGINAL POST NG VIDEO NA ITO.

TO FACEBOOK PHILIPPINES:
I wrote last night an article sharing the post of DECONSTRUCTED MEDIA which you took down this morning. In that post, I explained why rappler.comhas engaged in spreading fake news by twisting its report concerning the questions of Sen. Franklin Drilon to me. I explained why the rappler article failed to disclose the full truth.

When you took down the post of DECONSTRUCTED MEDIA, along with it came down my legitimate explanation of the events. I am asking that you restore that portion because that is legitimate. I am entitled to answer unfair attacks against my person and integrity. Rappler.com or any media entity for that matter has absolutely no license to attack me without meriting an appropriate response from my end. This video forms part and parcel of my defense against these attacks. Now, if you take this down again, I will be compelled to haul you to court along with rappler.com.

Any restraint against legitimate expression of public interest issues (the main issue in contention here is the serial cheating of our past three elections) is a violation of Article 32 of the Civil Code of the Philippines which provides for damages against the offended party when any private individual, directly or indirectly obstructs, defeats, violates or in any manner impedes or impairs any of the following constitutional rights and liberties of another person xxx (2) Freedom of speech xxx.

Since you are operating within the jurisdiction of the Republic of the Philippines, you come within the jurisdiction of our laws and courts.

I am not looking for quarrel. Just respect us and the advocacy we are fighting for.

PARA SA MGA NAGPOST NG ISYU TUNGKOL SA HEARING KAHAPON SA SENADO AT SA ISYU NG DAYAAN SA HALALAN, KUMUHA PO KAYO NG PICTURE NG INYONG POST O SHARE. KAPAG TINANGGAL ITO NG FACEBOOK, KUMUHA ULI KAYO NG PICTURE NG NOTICE NA TINANGGAL ITO. MAGAGAMIT NATIN YAN KUNG SAKA-SAKALING KASUHAN ANG FACEBOOK SA PAGLABAG NG ARTICLE 32 NG CIVIL CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES. MAGKAKAPERA PA KAYO FOR THE DAMAGES SISINGILIN NATIN SA KANILA FOR VIOLATING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

Facebook Philippines is not yet releasing a statement on the sudden deletion of several videos featuring Glenn Chong.
